We are excited to welcome new customers from Sumter Electric Cooperative (SECO) in October 2019. The City looks forward to exceeding your expectations for low-cost and reliable electricity while enhancing the Quality of Life in our community.
We know switching electricity providers doesn’t happen often, so you may have questions. City staff are available to talk with you on the phone or in-person at City Hall. In the meantime, you can find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions on our FAQ document [see the link below], or you can reach out to us using the “Contact Us” link below.
Affordable, Reliable, and Clean energy
Affordable and Clean Power
At the City of Bushnell, Quality of Life is our number one priority, and we understand affordable power is essential to that. We offer competitive rates while caring for our environment. Learn more on ways to save on our Energy Conservation page.
We are here to keep your lights on. Our lineworkers and staff live and work in the community, so they understand the system and can restore power faster.
Annually, the City provides about $1 million in economic value toward the local economy. Whether we’re improving infrastructure, providing local employment opportunities, or sponsoring community programs, we are here to support our citizens.
We value providing quality service to our customers. The City representatives are local and accessible to help you. Additionally, you have a voice in the decisions that impact your community and electricity bill. Council members represent the citizens and make policy decisions that guide utility operations. These decisions are made at City Hall, in public meetings, where customers have access to and an influence on the decision-making process.
