At the City Council meeting held on October 3, 2011, City Council voted to increase the minimum base building permit fees from $35.00 to $50.00. This increase will bring the base building permit fees in line with the other area cities and Sumter County. They also voted to decrease the administration fee from $25.00 to $15.00. The cost for most minimum permits will be $69.00. The new fee schedule will take effect immediately.
